My Summer Holiday Wrap Up

Dear Diary,

It's been a long time not to share my stories. I had been away on 5 - 16 July. I went to visit my grandfathers and grandmothers in Indonesia, with Dad. It was a long journey, I flew from Tokyo to Singapore to Denpasar and on the next day landed in Makassar, my hometown. I saw grandpa (my dad's dad) cried as he met my dad. Maybe because they did not see each other for nearly 4 years.  We went to Soppeng, my mum's village. I enjoyed staying in Soppeng, where I played with all of my cousins.

On July 16 we flew back to Tokyo because it was mum's birthday. I got a short tour while we were in Singapore. I was so happy to see mum. We celebrated mum's birthday in a mexican restaurant on the next day, and also had a big day out in Odaiba Beach and Dinosaurs Factory.

I think I had a great summer holiday.

Now it's school days....Thanks God I enjoy my new school which started on 20 July. My teacher name is Ibu Rina. I am in grade one, with other 2 kids: Bagus and Maryam. My school name is Sekolah Republik Indonesia Tokyo. I have lots of new friends...

But for sure, although holiday is over, every weekend Mum and Dad always come up with wonderful ideas to exploring Tokyo. Last week we went to Ueno Zoo. There are 63 cages of animals to be visited. I  visited them all!!!! In Ueno Zoo there is a giant panda from China.
Last week we also went to Electricity Museum, where there are so many fascinating things to see and do....

And next week..I can't wait to share my story about summer firework festival. I've got my Jimbe --kimono for boy-- ready for a picnic  by a river with Makoto-san.

Disney's Channel

Dear Dairy,

Yesterday, some people came to my house. They are Mum's friends. One of them is Suyama-san, and he helped us to put satellite TV, because the instructions are in Japanese language. Mum and Dad and me can not speak Japanese yet. I am verry happy because now I can watch lots of kids movie from all over the world.
But, Dad says that we only can choose some of them, because we have to pay much money if we choose all of them. So, I think, I just wanna pick Disney Channel, Cartoon Network, and National Geographic Channel because I love to watch the African animal. Disney Channel is so cool, and Cartoon Network too.
When I woke up this morning, I watch Donald Duck and Aladdin. But I have to stop because Dad wanna watch news from CNN and BBC. I do not know why Dad love to watch news. In CNN, I saw some people fighting each other in African country called Kenya. Oh, I am wondering, and scare, so I asked Dad, "what happen to the African animals? Do they die, too?" But Dad says, all the African animals are safe. So I do not need to worry.
Mum told me, that I can watch the channels only if I finish to having shower, having lunch, and brush my teeth, and do mengaji.
Actually, I wanna say arigato goshaimas-ta to Suyama-an and his friend for their helped.
